According to a recent Gallup poll as told by UPI.com, U.S. adults seem to think that 25% of the population is gay or lesbian.  That is quite a shocking number.  That means that 1 of every 4 people you see is gay.  Think about it – you and the fellas go out for drinks – one of you is statistically gay.  That is shocking.  An Atlanta radio station recently took calls from callers and several callers felt the need to mention that as they walked around downtown, they saw nothing but gay and lesbian groups (But this is Atlanta, what can you say).

However, the U.S. population exceeds 310 million people.  If the Gallup poll is in any way correct, that would mean over 77 million people are gay.  That was the Gallup poll, here’s the survey magnet poll.
