Home automation technology has existed for years.  It simplifies many of our day-to-day tasks at home.  Can openers, sprinkler systems, and programmable thermostats all make home life a little bit easier.   Next up on the simplification menu is television.  It seems that the remote has run its course.  It’s always lost, the batteries die, and you always seems to have five to choose from.

Imagine how simple things would be if you could just speak to your media center and adjust the TV volume, rewind a scene, or skip a commercial.  Nice, huh?

We’re not quite there yet but there are a few devices that are getting closer.  With that in mind would you ever purchase one?
