When it comes to American politics there are 2 major factions: Democrats and Republicans. We elect our officials down these party lines. Those elected officials (congressman, governors, judges, etc) are the ones that do the heavy lifting and get the work done. They are also the people in the political realm that we tend to get the least amount of information from. You have to turn to political pundits for that.
As with everything else in TV land there are major stars in the world of political punditry.
The big wigs on the republican side of the house are:
- Bill O’Reilly – known for his aggressive manor and ability to drive his point home.
- Glenn Beck – known for his outrageous mannerisms and stunts.
The big wigs on the Democratic side of the house are:
- Bill Maher – left leaning comedian who presents strong viewpoints
- Keith Olbermann – extremely smart and insightful (also former ESPN anchor)
