If you ask a group of 3rd graders what they wish to be when they grow up you will likely hear an array of things. Doctor, lawyer, athletes, veterinarian, policeman, garbage man, nurse, or President of the United States. Kids are encouraged to shoot for the stars. Adults…not so much.
Let’s be realistic. The odds of becoming the President are 1 in 10,000,000. Law school is HARD. Professional athletes are genetically gifted freaks of nature.
At some point we have to be just a tad bit realistic.
