Politics and government are 2 things with a mysterious polarizing quality.  It’s no doubt that politics and government play a huge role in all our lives.  Our selected officials impact everything from taxes to the quality of school our children will attend.  For an entity with such an enormous reach it is amazing how little of the public takes a strong interest in politics.

Voter turnout at elections is often atrocious (hovering around 50%) and most folks couldn’t name both of their senators if you spotted them the first name.  It would seem as if we are woefully uninterested and uneducated on our government in the US.

With that in mind how would you rate your interest in the government and politics?
