I have several times questioned our judicial system and how at times it works and other times it does not. I see no explanation behind how some crimes are enforced with a hand slap and the same crime for others ends in a third of their life taken from them.
The Middle East has always had a unique judicial system in that they believe in the eye for an eye system. Meaning, whatever you do to a victim, is done to you in punishment. Not so bad, huh. You take my TV, I get yours. You destroy my car. I get your car. You cut my hand, you get your hand cut.
But recently, a higher body had to intervene on the ruling of a Saudi judge who ruled for a criminal who caused his victim paralysis and loss of a foot to be paralyzed as well. Check it out here.
