- intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury
- extreme dislike or antipathy
In sports there are a few athletes that are synonymous with the term. They are (in no particular order):
- Mike Vick – he abused the poor doggies.
- Terrell Owens – he has an ego the size of the solar system.
- Tiger Woods – he went to bed with every waitress in the world.
- Chad Ochocinco – he has an ego the size of 2 solar systems.
- Kobe Bryant – he thinks he’s Michael Jordan and he cheated on his wife.
- LeBron James – he caught the first thing smoking out of Cleveland.
