I was listening to the radio the other morning on the way to work like I always do.  I listen to random conversations but mainly for the weather and traffic updates.  Well, on this morning, there were two teams on the show discussing their upcoming football game.  They did everything but curse one another out.

I am an avid college football fan of my college alma mater and frequently find myself tuned in most Sundays for the NFL games, but the hype of these guys on the radio was far worst than I’d ever heard.  I’m sitting and thinking, “What teams are these”?  Well, I found out that these were two of the area high schools.  Both teams were undefeated and were playing on the coming Friday. Tickets were being sold on the radio, websites were advertised to buy school merchandise, and the venue had been moved from the home team’s stadium to the NFL stadium downtown!

I couldn’t help but wonder, is this REALLY high school football???  These kids are at the radio station at 8 in the morning during the week – What about their morning class?  A website for merchandise – who’s benefiting from the sales?  Do the parents really support this?

Enough of my questions, here is the one that matters.
