2 Part Question: Say Yes or No to A Broke Friend

It has been said that a friend in need is a friend indeed.  If that is true then the current economy has created more friends than any grade school class room.

You can’t turn on the boob tube without seeing the nasty details.  It is a good news/bad news story.  On one hand the unemployment rate has slowed.  Theoretically this means that fewer people are out of work.  On the other hand the unemployment is still high and holding steady.  Which means people are still out of jobs.

Now lets bring this a little closer to home.  Lets say a friend of yours has lost his/her job.  They are married with 2 kids and they really have nowhere to go.  Bank of America is about to take the house and car.  Upper Crust Private School is booting the kids.  Even the dog is going to live with somebody else.  Your friend comes to you and pleads for you to let their family stay with you free of charge.

There are 2 parts of this question:

1) Under what circumstances would you say no?

2) Under what circumstances would you say yes?
