Situations Monday

Your friend is leaving town for a week and would like for you to drop them off at the airport and keep their car while they are gone.  You agree and drop them off at the appropriate time.  You park your friend’s car in your driveway and continue to drive your vehicle to work daily.  4 days later you decide to take your friend’s car for a spin.  After all, it is a V12 Mercedes and you’ve heard the car is pretty fast.  You’d be a fool not to take advantage of V12 Benz in your driveway, right?

You take it out on the freeway and open it up.  Wow!  Speed got up to 160 mph before you even knew you were in 4th gear.  No worries, you bring it on back down to a descent speed and head home.  You’re  a tad hungry and decide to go through the drive-thru at Wendy’s.  While coming around the corner past the intercom, you clip that damn yellow bollard.  $%&@!!!!

OMG!  What are you going to do? You head on back home and notice that it only scraped the mirror.  You google how to remove paint on a car and it suggest several remedies of which you try.  It appears to look pretty good.  3 days later, your friend returns.  You pick them up, take them to the car….  (now what – what would you do?)
