Today’s dating world is brutally intense. Everybody has requirements. Long gone are the days when the ability to read, a good paycheck, and good manors were enough to get you in the door. Nowadays if you don’t stand out from the crowd you stand a strong chance of growing old alone.
While everyone has their standards one thing is universal…looks. Physical attraction is a must. Some people (the smart ones) work out to preserve their bodies. A certain segment of those people will only date people who take physical fitness as serious as they do.
Picture this. You meet a new person at a social event. The chemistry is readily apparent. The mandatory questions are asked an answered:
- Are you a lunatic? No
- Do you work? Yes
- Are you spontaneous? Yes
You continue to be impressed by your new target. As the conversation ends the person says that he/she has one final thing to tell you.
“I’m sort of a fitness nut. I eat six small meals a day, drink a gallon of water a day, and I work out 5 days a week. I simply can’t stomach a person who doesn’t look after themselves.”
What would you do or say in this situation?
