True friendship is centered on trust and reliability.  A true friend will be there to help you through the tough times and celebrate your victories.  True friends are extremely hard to find.  If they weren’t people would have more friends and fewer “associates”.

I met a woman a few years ago whose sense of friendship had been ruptured.  It all stemmed from an incident that occurred over 10 years ago.  A very close friend of hers betrayed her trust.  While she was on an extended work trip her significant other and ‘best friend” had sex.  She found out and threw a titanic conniption (rightfully so).  Her friend was incredibly cavalier about the entire experience.

I feel bad for her because she’ll never have another meaningful human relationship in her life. It is true that some people can’t be trusted and they aren’t all going around broadcasting their lack of trustworthiness.  Look at your circle of friends,  could you see them betraying your trust to pleasure themselves with your love bunny?
