Situations Monday

You’ve been at your job for over 5 years now and have had steady job advancement.  The company reorganizes and your department gets a new Vice President.  And like most “new” managers, when they get into a position, they feel the need to CHANGE something.  Well things change but nothing hurts your advances within the department and overall you’re impressed with the department’s progression and success.

You’ve heard rumors that the new VP doesn’t like his employees to drive foreign cars but you think nothing of it.  You have had your eyes on the new 7 series BMW and have just been saving enough to get it parked in your garage.  Well that day has come and you have procured the new BMW 750Li.  The car is everything you imagined and more.

However, you’ve noticed that your work load has gotten lighter, and the VP has given you the cold shoulder several times in the break room and in the restroom.  Your buddy sends you an email and the subject says. “Told you not to get that foreign car”.
