Should women be allowed to hold combat jobs in the military?

Men play basketball.  Women play basketball.

Men wrestle.  Women wrestle.

Men stand and urinate.  Women sit and urinate (but they can stand).

Men join the military.  Women join the military.

It appears that women can do the same things as men can do.  So why has the question around women in combat in the military always come up?  The synonym for Combat is “Fighting”.  I have several friends and family members in the military and they’ve never told me stories of having to “fight” an assailant.  Shooting someone is the norm if the tank, grenades, and snipers didn’t take out the enemy.

So why can’t a woman do that?  Woman should be able to shoot a gun.  I know women that do shoot firearms so what’s all the fuss about?  If you have the cons, please drop me a note below and tell me.

Should women be allowed to hold combat jobs in the military?

I know they can’t carry and fully backpacked male solider but that’s not every second.

    Let ‘em fight.

Any woman strong willed enough to join the military, and proceed to the front line should be fully entitled to fight, combat, or shoot any enemy she wants.

Ever seen a woman scorned? Could be the secret weapon.

I am a proud serving 9 year member of the United States Air Force. I feel I can do any military assignment that any man can do and sometimes better. We have the same exact training. There’s not one job in the military that is limited to one gender we all have the same rights and can do any job we choose if we meet the qualifications.

i can bench press 215 i am 5′6 and wiegh 150 i can run a mile in 5 minutes and 5 seconds and can carry a 6′4 master sergeant over my shoulder and run a whole damn mile, my master sergeant admits i got balls, i admit a am a female, not only that but im 15 years old and am in jrotc. i can do more pull ups then any of the dudes in my battalion. including our battalion commander, he is in the INFANTRY he’s from charlie company 2nd battalion 58th regiment, i can out do him the pull-ups and the 2 mile run(im working on the push ups)imagine that, a girl with more upper body stenght then a guy who spent 3 months in trainig. if a girl is able to keep up,or even exceed, the boys she should be able to play with them also. i get down and dirty but am very disappointed in the fact that i cannot particapate in any type of field combat. i am disappointed that when i enlist i wont be a infantryman, i’ll be a crapy ass military police, when i know i can do so much more then that.

What is your goal? It almost appears that you wish to be a man.

im a 16 year old girl and when i can do everything a guy can do if we want to put our lives on the line then let us. and as for girls not being able to do infantry or cavalry or any other type of combat jobs its unfair but the military should let the girls try to carry the stuff for infantry and the one’s that can do it let them and the one’s that cant drop them. whats the big deal with women in the military we get alot of stuff about it and were doing the same thing as some of the men are doing. thank you to the guys that have no problem with women in the military and supporting us.
