Tiger Woods the Cheater

Tiger Woods

We all know the story.  Eldrick Woods, the 33 year old golfing phenom was found with his Cadillac SUV snugly parked inside a tree.  Several contradictory reports have stated that Tiger was conscious, unconscious, semi-conscious, bleeding, not-bleeding, sound asleep, and wide awake when police discovered his vehicle.

One thing is clear, no one except Tiger really knows how he came to rest in such a precarious position.

Another thing is abundantly clear,Tiger Woods has cheated on his wife with anywhere from 1 to 9 women (depending on the gossip rag you read).  As the news stretched around the globe Tiger’s impeccable image took hit after hit as he became TMZ fodder.

We are not here to debate what he did or even if it was right or wrong.  We know he cheated and we know he was wrong.

A man in Tiger’s shoes  may as well be living on another planet.  He is an intelligent, physically fit, multimillionaire.  He is recognized and adored worldwide by people of all races, backgrounds, and social situations.

Make no mistake about, Tiger is offered sex all the time. A few days ago we all thought he was immune to the pressure.  We were wrong.   Like Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and a host of  legendary men before him Tiger gave in to the pressure.

So here is the question:  Is it unrealistic to expect a man of Tiger Wood’s stature to remain faithful to one woman?

Is It unrealistic to expect the ultra successful to sleep with one person

If anything the more successful should be more aware of those wishing to bed them, for their intentions are likely not the innocent triflings of a young school child.

I mean it is always easy to be a judge from the sidelines, and I do believe this could be avoided by a VERY strong willed individual. But give Tiger credit, think about the amount of booty the man probably turns down on a daily basis…the way I look at it 10 was probably good…look at Wilt.

For a mere mortal that expectation is totally unreasonable. If he were Zeus, Jesus, or Poseidon then it could be done. He’s not either one of the above mentioned deities, he’s just a tiger.

A man does what a man wants to do. If he cheated, it’s because he wanted to cheat. Tiger was a seemingly happily married father of two. If making money made him succumb to cheating with waitresses across the country, then he is as weak as some of dead beats on divorce court.

Seriously, you can’t believe that. The man is literally TURNING DOWN women every single day. The dead beats on divorce court are chasing women. HUGE difference.

I have to side with Marcus on this argument.

But he gave in. Cheater is a cheater regardless of how the situation arose. Is Eldrick a friend of yours???

I guess you are implying that his abundance of funds has him TURNING DOWN women every day. So at what level do your funds force you into a situation to turn down women?

I know he is a cheater and no he’s not a friend of mine. I don’t say he was right I said he is in a special situation.

Don’t pretend to be so naive.

When he married his wife…that should have been the last booty and breasts he should have ever laid his hands on!!! I think it is being greedy! Be happy where you are…if you are not, figure out why not. Find your way back to what made you happy with your wife and work on that. Leave all this other chics alone. God has given him so many blessings, what a way to say thank you Lord!!!

Someone once told me we have grace and free spirit. He could’ve done right if he really wanted to. No one forces us to do anything. I think he got caught up in the thrill of things and really believed he could get away with it. Speaking from experience, what you do in the dark will certainly come to light. Just b/c he has the social status that he does, it is no reason to excuse his transgression. Sin is sin – one does not outweigh the other.

    Don’t not answer the question.

I’m impressed by our ability to somehow sneak god into every post. Tiger did not symbolically diss God by cheating on his wife.

How is he being greedy if people are GIVING him things? Greedy people go out and actively pursue things they don’t need. Did you put yourself in his shoes at all or did you just say “Tiger shouldn’t do that”?

I’m not excusing his transgressions, but you can’t realistically compare him to the rest of the population. Certain sins do outweigh others…that is why we the criminal justice system has felonies and misdemeanors.

So are you saying that Tiger’s wife should understand this since Tiger is a mega money-aire? It seems that you are excusing Tiger since he has a few millions. But broke people have to remain faithful to their wives.
