Recent power rankings have boosted the Cleveland Cavaliers to the #1 spot. Cleveland was in the 7 spot last week but after strong victories against some formidable opponents, the Cavs have the right to brag.
- They beat the Phoenix Suns 109-91 at home (first team to beat the Suns at home this season)
- After an impressive showing in Sacramento, the Cavs came out on top 117-104 in an OT thriller
- Lebron and Mo Williams handed the then #1 ranked Lakers a hardy Christmas Day beatdown: 102-87
- Houston couldn’t withstand the onslaught as they were on the receiving end of a 108-83 thrashing
The Cavs have been pumping the doe into the roster and getting ready for another playoff romp. Past years have been unkind.
- 2006 - the Piston haters
- 2007 – the San Antonio haters
- 2008 – the Celtic haters
- 2009 – the Orlando haters
Well, the Cavaliers are tired of losing and showing it off early in December. Lebron is averaging 28 points, ~7 rebounds, and 7 assists a game. Supporting cast Mo (17.3, 4.8,1.3) and Shaq (10.3, 7.1, 1.3) are adding valued assistance to King James.
So what do you think….Is King James ready to be crowned?
