Recent media discussions have depicted Favre and Childress as something similar to the movie Any Given Sunday with Willie Beamon played by Jamie Foxx. For those of you who failed to catch this non Oscar grabbing flick, Willie Beamon was a young quarterback who changed the plays in the huddle to his liking and put W’s on the board. Favre has been carrying out similar moves and it worked until a few weeks ago. Brad Childress let it be known that he was upset over Brett’s decision.
The once 10-1 Minnesota Vikings are now 11-4 record. They have dropped 3 of their last 4 games. Their last game of the season will be against the already playoff-less NY Giants. Talks of Round 2 between Childress and Favre rose again after a tough Monday Night loss.
No one should be surprised here. Brett has went into December meltdown mode with his last two teams. Favre is like that 40 yr old student in his freshman college course. He calls the teacher by his first name rather than Mr. So-and-so. I mean he’s the coach Brett, why not treat him as such?
It is a matter of time before Round 3 destroys this team. Oh yeah, and on a side note….The last time Brett gave his Willie Beamon impersonation in December the Jets lost 4 of the last 5 games and missed the playoffs.

The Vikings will go to the Super Bowl this year. They are the best team in the NFC. Brett is a smart player. He realizes what they have in Adrian Peterson (a workhouse that can carry him to the title). He and Brad are having their troubles now, but the competition in the NFC isn’t fierce enough to stop AP.
I am really tired of this prima donna bullshit that Favre keeps pulling. Hadn’t heard about this, and could care less.
Vikings do have a good team though, as long as Favre doesn’t lead the league in interceptions again.
Somehow you have overlooked the Eagles in the NFC which happens to be playin the best in the NFC right now. Both the Vikings and Saints are on losing streaks because teams have exposed their kryponite. Saints – hit Drew, Vikings – knock the ball out of AP’s hands.
I think Brett is the kind of quarterback where you have to let him run the offense or run the offense. He has always played that way. He doesn’t seem to respond well to play calls from the sideline.
When you wear Wrangler jeans, you can do what ever you want to do and call the coach what ever you want to call him.
Real talk.
LOL…true dat
The eagles will fold in the nfc championship like they always do…next.
They didn’t have secret weapon Mike Vick the last 3 times.
