The Internet has broadened the world to so many things. In this day and age anything is possible online.
- No need to talk good game when you can E-mack your way into his/her life.
- Online Porn (enough said).
- No need to write checks, lick a stamp, and mail bills 5 full days before they are due. Just click “pay online”.
- Need more friends. Just get online and send out your invite new people into your life.
So what is out of your realm?

Once again the “none of the above is left off”
It’s a new day and age, people are doing all of these things, some of which are still considered taboo. If I needed to date online, I’d give it a chance but only b/c I’ve seen my friends succeed at a high level.
Did you select none of the above in last year’s election?
Of these options I definitely wouldn’t use the internet for dating. I’ve seen other people do it to disastrous results. If you aren’t sociable to meet me in person then keep it moving.
No Dating. I’ve heard too many stories of how the wrapping paper doesn’t equate to the contents.
I’ve had real life blind dates where I get hit with the “wrapping paper” it’s win/lose either way whether online or not.
maybe you didn’t shake the box hard enough….
You didn’t have to pay a membership fee though
I have used the internet for all of these things. I have been the least successful with dating and reconnecting with old friends is just a rarity.
I too have heard some horrific stories from people I know that dated on line. So, I definitely wouldn’t use the internet to date anyone.
LMAO, I wanted a none of the above. I know we talk about horror stories with online dating but thats just an association deal. Besides, online dating has an advantage over actually going to location X to meet random person Y that looks good but after date/phone call 1 you realize you are talking to a box of rocks. The advantage is that you can at least google more info on WeirdGuy2495 or CuteGirl7895. Hell, pay about 30 bucks for a whole background check before you go meet/continue to talk online to the weirdo. Sure you’ve got the monthly membership fee but generally, unless location X is the grocery store/gas station, you’re generally going to pay a fee to get to location X to meet a whole bunch of random person Ys and get just a first name and a phone number. Afterwards, your getting to know person Y is going to take a whole bunch of time and maybe even a date which still costs gas, money, and time which just about evens it out. Online dating = convenience.
And as far as my failure rate, both methods are generally the same and horrible in some shape, form, or fashion.
This is very true. Wait….weren’t you on there for a min?
On what?
LOL @ wrapping paper
LOL @ the contents
