There were 2:08 left in the game. 4th and 2 from their own 28 yard line. Belichick was faced with a decision.
Punt the ball to Peyton Manning……..
OR
………Go for it on 4th down to keep the ball away from Peyton Manning
Bill made a bad decision according to most (mainly because they lost) although statistically it was in his favor to go for it.

It was a good decision. Bill showed guts. Thats why he is one of the best coaches in the league.
I believe it was a good decision only because they were playing the undefeated Colts lead by Peyton Manning. Had it been any other team, I would have voted for the punt all day. Belichick knows Peyton is the best QB in the game and you don’t give the best QB the ball with 2 minutes left.
Georgia Tech did the same thing against Wake Forest 2 weeks ago and they succeeded and left with a win. Only difference……Pats were not as lucky.
Pat’s got that first down, it was just a bad spot. The NFL wanna see if the Colts can go undefeated, it’s just another marketing ploy.
So who called to the box and relayed it to the Ref to relay it to the line judge to give a bad spot during the 2 seconds the play took place?
I’m just saying, I think the Pat’s got the first down. The refs are already in on it, they know what’s up. Pre-game meetings and such.
Interesting. Have they already met to discuss who will be in Miami this year?
