Once upon a time in a land far, far away men conducted themselves differently than we do today.  Apparently the men of olden days were a bunch of dragon slaying, bill paying, door openers who never asked for a thing in return.

The man of today will run away from that dragon, demand that you pay your own bills, and laugh at you if you stand poised for him to open a closed door.

What happened?  Did someone take the proverbial shotgun out and put chivalry to rest?
