Whenever the words “too old for children” are uttered women are the subject. Women have the biological clock. Women do the pushing and screaming. Women carry the darned thing around for 9 months. So naturally they would be the center of discussion.
That all makes sense. No one in their right mind would argue that women reach an age where it is unwise to have children. Men do the light lifting in child birth. We go to classes, bring you food, and hold your hand when the big moment happens.
Having said that it would seem that men could go on producing children forever. Nothing could be further from the truth. There comes an age when a man should focus his energy on other things besides fatherhood.
So the question of the day is…whats the magic number?
