I’ll be the first to say I don’t know how to fix anything around the house and I don’t want to. I went to school so I wouldn’t have to use all sorts of saws, wrenches, automatic ladders, electrical tape, and such.
I used to change my oil before I started getting manicures and I thought about getting a man bag (its kind of expensive though). If you think that makes me less manly than you then we can put the fists up!

To answer the question, I don’t think heterosexual men are becoming too feminine by getting manicures/pedicures. I think that’s an added bonus. It shows that he’s secure enough and open-minded enough to take care of himself. No woman wants a man with rough, calloused, raggedy, jagged nails on their hands or feet. It’s a sure turnoff especially when she’s ready to get physically connected to him. Sure they don’t need to be polished with tips on them or anything of that nature but they do need to be taken care of. There is nothing more attractive than a man whose neat, looks good, smells good (breath inclusive), and takes pride in the way he looks – without going overboard. Just like men want us women to meet the criteria, women want the same. Can’t step out looking flawless with a dusty looking dude by our side. Not complimenting at all. Now, a man purse?? No sir buddy …a wallet is just fine. If he needs more than that, then Houston, we have a problem.
I would have to agree with Kandi. My man is a decorated Air Force officer, but has a hobby of rehabbing houses, which can cause the ugly hands that Kandi speaks of….I will manicure his hands if that is what it takes to keep them looking the way I want them to. There is nothing wrong with a man that wears nice clothing and has a genuine concern about his hygiene and appearance. When he has a twist in his walk and is in the mirror longer than I am is when it becomes a problem. And the man bag…..definitely needs to have a gun or something that is vital to survival in it…..not a manicure set and lip gloss!

I’m just going to say people using scripture from the Bible (the incomplete one I might add.
