Absolutely needs addressing. Hit or miss, they still take our money and if they want more, they take more. Any other business would fail or possibly be penalized for consistently wasting investor dollars.
The problem is simple. There is no budget and right now we can’t force one. It will be a bright day in a dark cave before that sillyness will change.
The people of our country are not involved enough to control our congress. They do whatever the hell they want because we, the people, don’t hold them accountable. One day I’ll be a congressman, making fat loot and spending your money. Hit me up if you wanna work in my office. Free health care.
Our money is needed/wanted but not our opinions/feelings. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t.
Nah, the problem is we keep electing idiots. Politicians use class warfare tactics to get a bunch of people on their side and end up screwing everyone in the process all in an attempt to gather more powers for themselves. Thats how Congress’ ability to collect an income tax got passed in the first place.
LOL, thats how black people started voting democrat despite the fact the same party was sicking dogs on them and burning crosses in their yards, but the story of blacks and political parties are a completely different topic for another day.
At any rate, no politician in his right mind would promise or try to confine himself to a “budget”. I mean, you can dress him up in pretty clothes, give him inspirational sound bites and the like, but in the end he’s still a politician on the quest for MORE, not less power.
