On October 13th a spirited debate about finding money was launched on Survey Magnet.  The majority of our audience actually voted to return the money!  A shocking result to say the least.

Here to present a different point of view is Zette from DearZette.com. Our readers will remember her from this post last month.  Zette is always humorous and informative.  Enjoy the read.

I’m a good Christian woman.  I am. I help old ladies cross the street.  I do community service when I can.  I tithe (when I show up for service). I’m trying to live the best life possible. So if I found a bag o’money just chillin in the middle of le street…the Good Christian, God fearing woman in me would want to return it to its rightful owner.

It’s the Broke Heffa in me that you’d need to worry about.  See Broke Heffa is cognizant of the fact that I have student loans, a car note, rent, a mortgage (I’m an overachiever), credit  card debt, and a MEAN…I mean NASTAY love for make-up and clothing.  The Broke Heffa in me’s first thought would not be…let us return this bag to Bank of XYZ…her first thought is…”GIMME MY MONEY…”

It would most definitely be a battle between good and evil…as the Good Christian Woman and Broke Heffa battled it out.  “Return the darn money,” one would shout as the other screamed “Bitch please money ain’t got no real owner…” Back and forth they would argue until finally they looked into the bag o’ money to see what exactly we’d lucked up on.

In awe the Good Christian Woman and Broke Heffa would stare into the bag, amazed and then would say, ”DAMMMMMNNNNNNNN” in unison. The Good Christian Woman would turn her back on Broke Heffa…because you know if you didn’t see what happened you can’t bear witness….

I’m just sayin…Capitalism is a Broke Heffa…
