Last week President Barack Obama addressed the Nation to clear up many misconceptions about his proposed health care plan. In the course of doing so, he stated, “the health care plan would not cover illegal immigrants.”
During his statement, a first took place. A South Carolina congressman, Joe Wilson interrupted the President’s speech to call him a lie!
You lie!
In several other countries, this would have been considered treason or mutiny, and possibly ended in a beheading or tragic car accident. However, in the great USA you wait until the culprit speaks with his/her lawyer to formulate a decent apology.
