New York City’s Radio City Music Hall hosted music artists and fans from near and far on September 13 for the annual VMA’s. However, this year was filled with much controversy. Little did everyone know that Kanye’s actions would drive the Twitter amd Google servers into overload.
Within seconds of Taylor Swift accepting her Best Female Video award, Kanye appeared on stage out of no where. At first he seemed to want to congratulate Taylor but what was said next took the world by storm.

Beyonce, during her acceptance of the Video of the Year, called Taylor to the stage to complete her acceptance speech.

Oddly enough, I support what Kanye did. It isn’t like he is surprising anyone by hopping on the stage and complaining by now. What is this like the 12th time? If he truly felt that way then he truly felt that way.
It is peculiar to see him attack a 17 yr old girl though. A few years ago Beanie Sigel came calling and he ran for the hills. LOL
What Kanye did was completely unfelt. The more and more I see of Kanye, I respect him as a musician and artist but lose respect for him as a man. How many times are you going to run on stage and start crying about a music video or award? And this time it’s not even your video. So there is 17 yr old girl who has elation as her initial response about this stupid award, and he can’t even let her enjoy it because he (32 year old grown ass man) wants to come bitch about some Beyonce video. That’s pretty weak.
I agree with Richard. I mean come one dude. You – 32 yr old black dude. Her – 17 yr old white girl who made a good song and supporting video. I bet he wouldn’t have run up there and took the mic from Ross or 50 or Jeezy. Cause he’s a punk.
Man listen… ALL of Beyonce’s videos are simply her and two other chicks in freaking one pieces, dancing around in black and white.

What he did was totally disrespectful to Taylor and her career. Let him have something like that done to him and it would be the end of the world.

I mean the music industry is not like the NFL or NBA. So what policing body is going to fine him, or slap him with the repercussions.
I understand the point he was trying to make but his method of delivering his message was dead wrong. As much trouble as he’s been in, you’d think his grown “arse” would chill and take the higher road. But then again for Kanye …that’d be too much like right. I found his reaction to Jay Leno’s question about what his mother would say if she were alive to be quite interesting …he was quiet as a mouse. Mmmm. Additionally, I’d have to agree with Javonne …Beyonce’s had her days of fame. The things she’s doing now is repetitive & quite boring. Although I do feel she has great talent, It is time for other upcoming young artists to shine.
