Who is to blame for the mortgage crisis: lenders or borrowers?
I’ve witnessed (and contributed to) several heated debates on this topic. I’m interested in what the world thinks. The fact that home ownership has been persuasively marketed as “The American Dream” only adds more propane to an already monstrous fire.
In this situation there are 2 responsible parties
- Lender – person distributing money to home owners.
- Borrowers – person taking money from the lenders to finance a home.
At the end of the day someone has to take the blame for this catastrophe. Who’s fault is it?
