Back in the day people worked extremely hard.  When they got off, they rode the horse home and scurried to pump water.  Later they had to scrub the clothes on the scrub board and had to harvest or hunt some type of dinner.

Today, you get off work; drive your Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, or Infiniti home.  You flop down in your favorite chair to play video games, watch your soaps, chat on the computer, or find that movie on On Demand that you’ve seen 6 times already.  Then you pop in your favorite TV dinner if the cook has not already prepared you a tasty dish.
